Job description:
- Candidate will be based in Mumbai and will be responsible for Sourcing & Procurement of pharma formulation of packaging Materials for Domestic & International Business.
- You will be a part of Supply Chain Management team where in you will be accountable to manage material supply availability for all packaging and associated materials for meeting business demands managing supplier pricing, cost, quality, and delivery performance.
- He will responsible for Vendor Management for Lead strategic supplier relationship management to continually identify process improvements and cost reduction opportunities & Negotiate, create, execute and manage effective global contracts with suppliers that will allow company to maximize opportunities globally.
- He will Work closely with vendors and technical/ inspection team on sourcing, contract negotiation and procurement.
- You will analyze opportunities for growt02h, cutting costs, reducing damages and improving efficiencies. Resolve increasingly complex problems.
- You will Formulating and implementing Sourcing strategies, defining and implementing sourcing policies & procedures. Proactively reduce business risk through implementation of appropriate risk mitigation strategies.
- Assist to the Manager for sourcing strategy for packing materials like corrugated box, Carton Box, Bubble sheet, BOP tapes etc.
- Do often research to understand company’s operations needs and requirements.
- Negotiate pricing and control costs as per the reporting manger’s instruction.
- Execute analyses and make suggestions for improvement of overall sourcing strategy.
- Adhere with Company SOP for Vendor Development (like documentation, vendor visit etc.)
- Keep abreast of industry and market trends and best practices.
- Determine quantity and timing of deliveries.
- Discover and partner with trustworthy vendors and suppliers.
- Research and anticipate shifts in the negotiating power of suppliers.
- Optimize sourcing procedures to attain maximum efficiency.
- Invent negotiation strategies and secure profitable deals.
- Analyze and calculate costs of procurement and suggest methods to decrease expenditure.
Desired Candidate Profile:
- Candidate should have specialized knowledge in Packaging Materials Supply Chain or Materials Management.
- You should have ability to manage sourcing projects to tight timescales and engage and influence multiple stakeholders.
- You should be good in import procurement of packaging materials.
- Candidate should be good at communication & computer Skills.
- Candidate should be good in Vendor management.
- Candidate should be good in Costing & Process Contract.
